Bond going head-to-head with Spielberg’s TinTin?

According to Examiner.com, 2011 may be a busy year for Daniel Craig fans. Supposedly, online sources have confirmed that Craig will star in the 23rd James Bond film, and that’s set to release at the same time as Craig’s other film, Steven Spielberg’s Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, which is scheduled to premiere in Europe.

The big question is: who will suffer most?

While Steven Spielberg has proved to be the King of the Box Office, James Bond always manages to rake in a decent amount of money for Eon Productions. The Craig films, in particular, have been big money-makers lately, together banking roughly a billion dollars internationally. Imagine what a third Craig flick is going to rake in?

Either way, if this rumor is even true, I’ll be seeing both of them. Spielberg’s my favorite director, while James Bond is one of my favorite fictional characters — as if this blog, dedicated to him, didn’t point that out already.
