Friday Feature: "Risico" Fan Film

December 26, 2008

Earlier this week, Keith Hodder released some more information about his short, James Bond fan film, “Risico”…

Updates:

– Hodder stated that the first draft of the film’s script has been completed.

– The film is estimated to run around 8-10 minutes.

Hodder stated,

Both myself and Patrick (the guy playing Roderick) started rehearsing choreography, it went extremely well. I already have bruises on my knee. There are some great moments in the fight that truly give a mix of Connery and Craig.

Well, I must head to work folks. Sunday we will be rehearsing choreography again and we’ll be creating all the props and scouting our apartment location. If not tonight, tomorrow I will be posting the pictures we took at the location.

Hodder also shared some images that display some of the film’s locations:

The parking lot above is where Roderick meets Mr. Q to begin thier deal. We will be using part of the parking lot that is further to what would be the right of the picture. This will display a "Collateral"-esque city scape.

Here's the area that leads to the alley. To the left you can barely make out the passage that becomes a very skinny dead-end alley.

The image above shows a resemblance to "Casino Royale". If you were to take a left from the parking lot picture, this construction area will be seen quickly as Bond begins to chase Roderick. Still considering if we should choreograph any stunts, but we don't want to get kicked out.

Keith Hodder, head of River Rogue Productions, has provided some early information about the film:

SYNOPSIS
The document codenamed RISICO, containing the current locations of all 00-Agents, has been stolen from MI6 headquarters. The act of treason has been traced to a mole: Oliver Roderick. James Bond is sent to Roderick’s apartment to retrieve the crucial information and stop him from delivering the data to his contact from the organization known as Quantum.

Directed by: Keith Hodder and Marc Brousseau

… Filming will start and finish between December 15th and January 4th. RISICO will be a short film that will include the traditional gunbarrel sequence. Lots of time will be taken to create and rehearse coreography and cinematography will be the film’s main focus.
